Thought I would keep a log so that I don't forget how much work is going into my first cruiser! Bought at the end of August from a farm in Lincolnshire, 150k miles but a great engine and underside. Body is in need of some work and the inside is what you would expect from a farm vehicle.

Leaking steel sunroof has come out (mainly in lots of little bits of rust) and replaced with a later 1990 glass version from a breaker.

Interior stripped out and a good deep clean on the mess from the farm, replaced the seatbelts and carpet from a breaker

Started to strip the cruiser back so that we can have some welding done at the local garage to get rid of the rust that has started to set in. It's not bad but needs a bit of work. Looks a bit different from when I bought it.

A fair bit of work to be done now the wheel arch trims are off.

Now stripped of anything and everything ready for painting next week and new back doors from a breaker fitted as well as new lightweight windows installed!

Hi, very nice have one which is similar. My sun roof isnt working, how much the replacment cost you? and is it an easy job? Head linings knackerd so if im sorting that may be worth doing at the same time.
